Edgar Allan Poe, an American author whose cloudy personal life is a virtual legend, considered himself primarily a poet.
He was best known for his tales of mystery and the macabre, such as The Black Cat (1843) in which a man’s maniacal hatred for a black cat consumes him and leads him to murder.
The Black Cat is one of Poe’s best-known short stories and looking at my shot I can feel the mood of this story...hope you have the same "noir" sensations too...
